Create a Slideshow in Picasa

What good would all of your images be in Picasa if you can’t show them all off in a creative fashion? Similar to Microsoft Powerpoint, you will be able to insert all or some of your images in a slideshow, which will allow people to see them one after another. First you will want to open up the Picasa software. Once that is all set, please move on to the next paragraph or step.

This process is very simple and this tutorial will only make it even easier, the whole slideshow process is done by placing all of the images you want in the slideshow inside of one folder, therefore the program will know where to outsource the images from. You can name the folder whatever you want, just make sure there is one there so you can add all of the images to it. This program is very simple to use, everything is there for you to see, so there are no secrets. As you can see towards the top, there is a Slideshow button that you can press. Please move on to the next step.

Once you have added all of the pictures or images to the folder, you will now be able to view your creation in a cool Slideshow. There are actually a few ways you can access the Slideshow. First, you can click on the Slideshow button at the top of the program, but you may also click the Folder button at the top and hit “View Slideshow”. Either way is fine, but if you don’t feel like clicking your mouse, you can always hotkey it to access it. All you need to do is click CTRL + 4, and it will open up the Slideshow also.

Whichever option you chose, your screen will become black or dark for a moment, your images will then follow as will a small panel with a few options such as play, next, and previous. The rest is self explanatory, so have fun with your images!
